Every time you push the pump, air leaks from a cracked hose, and you cannot inflate properly. If the pump body is not broken and a matching repair hose exists, you can replace the hose only.
Before you look for a replacement, match the model of the pump to the maker’s official fit table. Thread diameter is a clue, but that number alone cannot set the match.
If it leaks only near the valve, the cause may be the chuck or a gasket. First confirm where the air is actually leaking.
How to tell an air leak that a hose swap will fix
Even the same air leak has different causes by where it leaks. Push the pump lightly, bring your hand from mid-hose to the valve side, and find where air comes out.

If the hose has a crack or split mid-way and air escapes there, confirm whether an official repair hose exists. If only the connection to the pump wobbles, the cap may be loose or not fully inserted. If the connection is cracked or deformed, stop using it and stop the work.
If it leaks only near the valve, the chuck, gasket, or lock lever can be the cause. If air comes from the hose but the handle kicks back hard, or it leaks near the gauge or handle, have a shop inspect the check valve or the inside of the pump.
Maker name and model on the pump
If a hose swap looks likely to fix it, next look up the model of the pump. Where it is printed differs by maker and model, so look for print, stickers, and stamps in this order.

- Top and underside of the base
- Gauge face, back, and nearby labels
- Stamp on the handle or hose storage
- Box, instructions, order history, shop receipt
Even if part of the model is worn off, do not fill in similar letters. Photograph these places in a bright spot so you can ask the maker or shop.

When you ask, tell them the maker name, series name, letters you can read, color, whether it has a gauge, and the chuck shape. Also attach a photo that shows the connection on the pump.

Hose type changes with how it joins the pump
Once you know the model, check the connection between pump and hose. A hose with threads and a hose that inserts and is held by a cap take different replacements. You cannot mount a generic threaded hose on an insert-type pump.

M9×1.0mm means a metric thread with 9mm nominal diameter and 1.0mm pitch, but the Topeak TwinHead Upgrade Kit also includes three kinds of connectors, so that number alone cannot set a match to another maker’s pump.
TRK-JB12’s 10mm outer diameter and 4mm inner diameter are dimensions of the rubber hose itself. They do not mean a 10mm connection thread. Do not mix hose diameter and thread diameter.
When you ask the maker, also attach these measured values. They are an aid for the question, not a way to pick a generic hose from caliper numbers alone. When official pump-model matching exists, the repair hose on that table is the pick.

The chuck differs for Woods, Schrader, and Presta
Even if the pump-side connection matches, you cannot inflate if the chuck does not match the bicycle valve. Confirm which of Woods, Schrader, or Presta it is with the table below.

Replacement hoses include hose-only, hose with chuck, and ones with an adapter. If it is “hose only,” also confirm whether you can move the chuck you use now, or whether you need another chuck that matches the bicycle valve.
“Woods/Schrader/Presta compatible” is a spec per product. It is not common to every replacement hose. Before you buy, confirm that compatible valves and included parts are written in the product description.

Once pump model, connection type, and valve type are together, match the maker’s official fit table and repair parts. The three items above are not a popularity ranking. Target models and connections differ for each.
A discontinued mark on a repair-parts table and shop stock are different things. If you cannot find a match, do not switch to a generic part with a similar model. Ask the maker or shop.
For BFP-02AGEZ, pick BFP-H-02AGEZ
BFP-H-02AGEZ is a 110cm repair hose that matches BFP-02AGEZ-S and BFP-02AGEZ-B. It is hose only, with no chuck, so also confirm that you can move the current chuck, or that another chuck you will get matches the bicycle valve.
The JoeBlow replacement hose is TRK-JB12
Topeak’s Japan official site lists TRK-JB12 for the JoeBlow series in general. Hose length 110cm, 10mm OD, 4mm ID. It is not described as a generic part for other makers’ pumps.
If you also change the chuck, confirm through M9×1.0mm
The TwinHead Upgrade Kit is a set with a Presta/Schrader chuck, 80cm hose, M9×1.0mm connector, and three kinds of connectors. There is no Woods compatibility or all-pump compatibility in the listing, so pick it only when you have confirmed the pump-side connection matches.

How to remove the old hose and mount the new one
Once the replacement is decided, open the instructions for that repair hose. The flow common to Panaracer manual floor-pump instructions is the seven steps below. Do not reuse it on tank-storage, electric, or CO2 pumps.
- Match the pump model and the repair-hose model in the instructions
- Loosen the hose cap with your fingers
- Hold the hose tip and pull it out of the pump slowly, straight
- Keep water, sand, and dust out of the pump side and the inside of the cap
- Insert the new hose straight to the back
- Do not tighten the hose cap with a tool. Tighten it firmly with fingers
- Put the chuck on the correct valve and, at low pressure, check for leaks, a lifted cap, and the hose pulling out. If none, follow the recommended pressure on the tire sidewall and the pump max
BFP-H3 can have a check-valve ball at the hose root depending on the model, so before you pull the hose, confirm in the instructions you have whether it exists and where, and do not drop it. On BFP-H-02AGEZ, you may loosen a stiff cap with pliers only when removing it. Mounting is finger-tight.
Do not take it apart further than the instructions. If any of the following is true, stop remounting and stop the work.
- You do not know the pump model or the repair-hose match
- The hose cap or the pump socket is cracked or deformed
- The thread goes in at an angle and will not turn by hand
- It still leaks after the swap, or the hose lifts or pulls out
- Air comes out but the handle kicks back hard
Do not force on a hose whose model does not match
When you hesitate, check again in this order: failure location, pump model, official match, connection type, valve. Even if thread diameter or hose diameter look the same, do not mount a part that fails pump model, official match, connection, or valve.

If you do not know the pump model or the repair-hose match, ask the maker, a shop, or a bike shop with photos of the actual parts. Do not join them with an adapter or glue that is not in the instructions. Use only a part whose match you can confirm.
If the pump socket or threads are cracked, swapping the hose alone will not seal. If air still leaks after the swap, replacing the whole pump can be safer.
